Welcome to Day 2 of the AND EVERYTHING NICE blog hop!
I've created a Post It note holder using the Simon Says Stamp Retro Wreath stamps to share.
Be sure to check out the free gift and chance to win a $25 gift certificate towards the bottom of the post!
MERRY AND BRIGHT HOLIDAY NOTES
I had a watercolor background paper in my stash that I used for this project. I stamped the wreath twice, the bow, and Merry and Bright in the center.
I added lots of gold splatter...
I folded a black tag around some Post It notes, so the flap is on the right. I layered a full wreath and a partial wreath together to create a layered look. I only adhered the wreath with pop tape on the left, so the tag flap would fit under it and close.
Why not create a fun note holder for yourself or to give as gifts for the holidays?
Have fun creating!

ReplyDeleteWhile called "Retro" this stamp set gives me modern and edgy vibes but yet I can where it also represents an era of time from years ago. My personal tastes tend to follow a more traditional path but I admire the way you showcased this stamp set, especially the lime green wreath, that card had me thinking about a mix of the 50's meets the Jetson's.
ReplyDeleteI apologize, I posted my comment so quickly that I didn't manage to keep going to add my name to the above comment, I guess I was overwhelmed when I decided the card gave me the 50's met the Jetson's vibe.
ReplyDeleteSo many different ways to use the Retro Wreath. I love it!
