Simon Says Stamp Challenge-What Are You Known For?

I must say this challenge at Simon Says Stamp got me thinking! I definitely am a cup of coffee crafting kind of gal...right Sheila? (Well, she is too!!) I love to craft with my sister and my friends...I like to listen to music while I craft...I love to make mini books (and turn them into classes)...BUT, can I come up with just one thing? Well, I decided I could!
I am willing to try anything at least once...new technique...new class...art journaling...multi media...canvas...What happened to just the days of card making, then scrap booking? So, you say, what has Maura tried now that is new? (you did, didn't you?) I just took a workshop with our art teacher and made this!
Yes! A basket from wood slats and reeds-totally from the beginning! I wove this basket from start to finish! Is it perfect - oh no! But, it is mine.
So what does a basket have to do with scrap booking, cards, art journaling, etc.? It is perfect to put supplies in to use at home or carry to a crop!
Yep! Definitely not my usual, but like I figured out, I am willing to try something at least once. My fingers still hurt 2 days later, but when I look at my new basket, I smile.

  4. I love that your basket has handles to make it more functional...great idea. You've definitely come a long way from just rubber stamping and card making! Love it.
