Celebrate in the Fairy Garden

I am in the summer celebration mood, and have an art party coming up. I needed to design a project for our art group to create, so came up with this fairy luminary. Perfect for a summer party! So, to continue the celebration, I will be entering Simon Says Celebration challenge here.
Details, details, details...isn't that what they say? So here are a few...
Added some color to the fairy (Prima) with distress inks and markers. I did find that it rubs off in handling, so be careful.
Bird's nest in a sea shell perched on pine cones.

Second branch with a butterfly, ribbons and flowers to add some color. (love these colors - I have so much fun making this distressed ribbon with the Distress Stains)
Everything goes in the mason jar I added things like Spanish moss, shells, beads, rocks, marbles and a fossil for the light to sit on. A bit of 3 in 1 glue helps to keep it in place.
More ribbon, raffia, and wire around it to both make the handle and add color. Later I added some Washi pennants.

A couple of peeks at the little world inside the fairy luminary. I can't wait to hang this in the garden tonight!
You do need to make sure you use a wide mouth mason jar so you can place things inside (or any jar with a wide opening). Also, remember when you place things that you need to take the tea light out to turn it on and put it back in, which is why I partially glued things into the base, but let my "tree" parts stay loose so I can fit them back in.
Ready for a garden celebration!!
