A Bit O' Green

 

 Hello Monday, my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  Make Your Own Background  Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is: A BIT O'GREEN

I could not pass up the opportunity to make some St. Patricl's Day cards with this week's challenge! 

 

I began with a watercolor background using Green Gold and Quinacridone Gold. I splattered a bit of water over it, and picked up some of the color. 

Next up - stamping! A lovely sketched clover in Fairway Green, and words in Nocturne inks.  

I adhered my backgrounds to white cards. I debated about adding some ribbon or string, but decided to keep it simple.

I also stamped a sentiment inside the card with the green ink.
