Sparkle Tree

Hello Monday, my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  TREES  Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

We are showcasing the wonderful products from Paper Artsy this week...if you have some, we would love to see them in your makes!

Please join me in welcoming Anita Rao  as our guest designer this month. Welcome back Anita!

This week the challenge is: MAKE IT SPARKLE

I'm using the delightful Paper Artsy stamp set from STAMPtember 2024 for my card. I love the whimsical tree image over the holiday lettering.

I began by stamping an overall pattern for the background with Rhubarb and Apple inks.  I also went in and added some marks with a Paper Artsy Kate Crane set. (you will see the circles in the next photo)

I stamped the tree image onto watercolor paper, and colored the images with Intense pencils. You could also use watercolor, markers or colored pencils.  I popped this layer up.

Next step is to add sparkle, so I added some with Stickles. I added sparkle to the tree, the border, and a few dots.

I like how the words cozy up to the corner.

Inside, I used a big bold word stamp from Tim Holtz.

And there we have it...one more Christmas card for the season.

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $25 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
