Can you believe it? It's the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge's 16th birthday!! 

Istarted off with some stamping, die cutting, coloring, and fussy cutting.

I've had a thing for metallic flakes lately, so had to add some into the background.

so, my bad! I did not look at our update for the company this week, until a few days before posting, SO, I added some stamped images from Paper Artsy to my ATC. I guess we can fix anything with paper and stamps, LOL!

This week the challenge is: FOOD AND DRINK

I am always up for a cup of coffee with a friend! 

 

I did a  bit of ink smooshing, and stamped my coffee cup and message.

 I used watercolor to color the coffee cup.

I decided I wanted more texture in the background, so went in with this fun bubble stamp. 

 I stamped and colored this cute bird. Do you think those eyes will get my message across, or does it just look over caffeinated?

I added some white dots to the cup, as well as the bird.

 

I am ready to grab a cup of coffee with you, so let's make plans!

 Hello Monday, my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  Mother's Day/Feminine  Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is: THINGS WITH WINGS

It's not surprising that I immediately thought of butterflies with this week's challenge. I am looking forward to their return. But, I also thought of dandelions which are popping up with their brilliant yellow heads, and I stated thinking about when they go to seed, and the fluffy light seeds take wing. Then, why not add in a dreaming person, because our dreams take wing also. Apparently, I was well into symbolism with this week's theme.

DREAMER 

I began with overall stamped butterflies on the tag.  

On a second tag, I stamped my figure and word. Originally, I was going to layer part of this tag over my other one until I had an oops with some brown paint. 

I watercolored the figure in a contrasting color after I stamped a giant dandelion with her.
