IKEA Project - The Inside Story

It took me awhile to figure out how I wanted to use my altered IKEA box, but I finally did. I decided to sort my flowers out by color and fill the drawers with them. Previously, I had kept them in "milk containers", but they were getting kind of squished, and I was trying to make more room on my work desk. Now, I will just have to remember where I put them!

Hey, Sheila, how did you end up using yours?

  1. Maura what a great idea, I have a antique spice cabinet that has 18 draws and never really knew what I wanted to do with itn thanks to you now I do.

  3. Love it! What a great idea Maura. I have this exact same box and I use it to store my punches, each drawer has a punched piece to define "what's inside." I can vision other uses for this box & will just have to pick up another at IKEA to further my quest for organization!

  4. Sheree,
I had thought about using mine for punches too - it just seemed made for that. My problem was too many punches and not enough drawers, so I came up with the flower idea. I like your idea of putting a punched piece on the drawer so you know what is in it.
