My Colorful Life

I decided to make my color project out of tags. The covers are a heavy chipboard. I adhered the chipboard letters on the front where I wanted them and then painted over everything in the blue.
The insides all follow the same format. Each color gets two pages. First are the phrase tags in the corresponding color. I got these on etsy awhile ago but can't remember what shop. I knew that they would come in handy one day.
On the back of these I adhered dictionary definitions. I then chalked each definition with that color.
The front of each color tag has a paint chip on the left hand side and three to four photos on the right hand side.
On the flip side are larger photos of items in that color. I just went through my iPhoto library looking for favorite photos that had specific colors in them. It wasn't as easy to come up them as I had originally thought when I had this idea. Which is why purple and pink never made it into my finished mini album.

On the backside I added some journaling and just wrote a list of what popped into my mind when I thought about the color.
I then strung them all onto a ball chain.
And mailed it off to Maura.

  1. Sheila, this is just such a fantastic interpretation of color! I love the way you did it - using the paints, paint chips, photos, journaling in your own handwriting. If I was your teacher, you would get an A+ :)
