I am finally right where I should be, now that I know I am doing Tim's tags - LOL! Check yesterday's post for the full story.
I am loving the patina look that Tim described here. You may have noticed I have been making a few things with it lately. Stamped the blueprint compass onto the background to create a bit of interest.
Added a saying, and row of tickets, then pulled out some of the glassine I recently played with to add along the bottom of the tag. Stamped the blueprint globe on Idealogy paper. Next, I stamped the dots with distress paint.
Things are looking pretty messy now! Good thing I did the metal patina the night before so it would be dry for today.
Some of the tag detail...
Voila! Here is my April tag, with patina on a travel theme. Time to link it up over at Tim's 12 tags!
LOVE this! You should frame all 12 tags once completed because they are all a work of art. I love seeing all your creativity-you're on a roll!
ReplyDeleteSheila, that is a great idea! It would make an awesome display. I will have to remember that in December. Having this week off has certainly inspired me to play.
ReplyDeleteMaura, these tags are absolutely beautiful and would make an awesome display!! What a great idea. You rock!!!! Even if you framed them individually, they are great pieces by themselves too. It's giving me a great idea.... Hhhmmmmm!
ReplyDeleteLove this and I really like how you incorporated the ticket design :)
ReplyDeleteGreat travel tag! Love all the detail.
