Over at SanDee and Amelie's Steampunk Challenges the November challenge is balloons. I finally found some time today inbetween cooking the turkey and getting dinner ready, to work on this challenge. I used the Prima Craftsman line of papers and stamped multiple images of Tim Holtz's hot air balloon, using this one as the base.
Here it is after layering the different colors into the balloon, adding the moth wings and metal key hole....are you ready to fly? Your hot air balloon awaits you!
Fabulous card! Love the gorgeous steampunk hot air balloon! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHi, Maura,
ReplyDeletegreat to have you play with us again! I LOVE your balloon card and the moth wings are such a lovely addition! They seem to give the balloon a will on its own - very poetic, isn't it?
Thank you so much for joining us again at SanDee&amelie's SPC!
Hugs,

Hello Maura. Thanks so much for the sweet comment you left on my blog. I LOVE your Tim hot air ballons! His stamp is one of my favorite images of a hot air balloon. You've done a beautiful job on the card. The addition of the Ideaology keyhole and moth wings looks amazing! <3 Candy
