I have been having a lot of fun using household objects, like cardboard, and adding them in as fun elements into my projects. Creative Jumpstart has me going through my "trash" looking for treasure. I am also challenged by the letter "a" this week at Simon Says here. Since I am creating these little 4x4's for my Art group's Art exchange I think my letter A is covered. I was also inspired by my Art journal class I just took, so I began with some sticky back canvas...
Then, I found my Dylusions sprays...
But wait, my theme for the exchange is winter wonder, so Silver Distress paint next...
Hmm, needs more texture, so let's scrunch this up and go over it with Archival ink.
Time to dry, and my light does a good job of giving off some heat...
Winter has a lot of silvery sparkles like snow and frost, so let's add some silver leafing.
While that dries, time to stamp Stonehenge onto the cardboard and distress it with the lovely hues of deep night...blues and purples.
And here are a couple of finished samples, ready for my art exchange"Winter Wonder"
Thanks for joining me!
Very creative and very wonderful!!! I have never worked with sticky-back canvas….I guess I'll be buying that next!
