This week at Simon Says Stamp, the challenge is "Anything Goes"! This always opens up a world of possibilities and the freedom to just play! Gotta love it!
One of my science teacher friends asked me to make some science themed bookmarks for a baby shower. She's going to pair them with books for her gift. So here is what I came up with...And of course, I had to make one for her too!
Started with heavy watercolor paper and distress inks to create the backgrounds.
Then, I started stamping and layering and forgot to take photos, so here are each of the bookmarks in detail.
Stamps: Tim Holtz, Finnabair, Hero Arts, La Blanche
Finnabair Alpha Stencil, Tim Holtz Remnant Rubs, hand dyed ribbons
Distress and Archival inks by Ranger, CTMH white ink, titanium white paint, Diamond Glaze
Cool bookmarks! Love the ink backgrounds!
