Gentlemen Callers

Hello Monday! Cheiron on the design team is inspiring us to try something masculine this week. What were the good olde days like for gentlemen? Maybe it's time to make a masculine card, canvas, or gift.  Time to work with masculine colors? Whatever it is, we are interested in seeing it!

The gentlemen are calling...what will you do? Will you call back? Will they sign your dance card? Oh, the questions this brings up!

I thought it would be fun to mix things up this week with my "tag". The old fashioned gentlemen, the newfangled telephone...now, one little thing about myself to share...I do NOT like to talk on the telephone, but...a gentleman caller might make me pick up the phone. LOL!

Would you encourage any of these gentlemen callers? They could be calling from anywhere around the world!

A little humor for the back of my folded tag...

Playing with some of my favorite colors, blue, green and purple!

Some dashing gentlemen you might encourage to call on you, or not. Just imagine the days of yore when you had a dance card the gentlemen would fill to keep you dancing, or their calling card dropped off at your home so they could stop by and visit. Things are certainly different today, why, women might even ask the gentlemen! LOL!

The key is to listen....

So, time to get crafting something masculine. I can't wait to see what your gentleman caller does!

As always, Simon Says Stamp is offering a generous $50 voucher, so join in the fun!

  11. What an absolutely clever creation! I love how you combined modern images (telephone-- although I suppose the youth of America probably don't know what a telephone with a cord is these days)and all those stately looking guys from yesteryear. And I totally love the COLOR and POW that this card has. Great attention to detail, too (don't think I didn't catch the "listen" charm and how well is plays with the caller theme)! This was a delight and it made me smile as well as give you a mental kudos for your skills!
