Darkroom Door: Make your own Background

Hello Monday! Glad you stopped by my friends! Are you ready for a new challenge? We are using Darkroom Door stamps, and they have an awesome collection, so be sure to check them out!

This week we are all about creating our own backgrounds using Darkroom Door stamps. I went a little wild with the stamps, and used them for everything, and had so much fun doing it, I forgot to take process photos.

I love this saying from Darkroom Door - "Do more of what makes you happy"! Yes, thank you, I will. I love to create, stamp, paint, craft, so why not focus on what makes me happy?!

I stamped the paint tube stamp on glossy paper and went over the image with ink. I cut extra bits to make it look like the paint is coming out of the tube.

I just had to add a few paint drips...

I took one of my old paintbrushes, added some more paint to get it good and messy, then dipped it into the pink paint and set it aside to dry. Tied the tag with some hand dyed ribbons.

Stamped the background in white on the black tag, used a scrap of the glossy paper on the side, added in a bit of pink paint, and yes, now I am happy!

We would love to have you join us in the challenge! Get out your Darkroom Door stamps, or use what you have to create your own background. I look forward to seeing what you create!
