Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

I have three card samples to share that I created using the Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit. I love coffee and tea, so this is the perfect kit for me! Check out all the fun stamps, papers and embellishments.

My first card was made by stamping the images repeatedly on several different papers, using my MISTI. Next step, fussy cutting and layering the papers to create some cheerful images. I popped the tea bag up once and the cup twice.

On my second card, I layered up some images, die cut the cute coffee cup with the clip. I used the distress tool to rough up the edges, after I had stamped the words. Easy peasy, right?

For my third card, I added in some mixed media elements, so I'll share a few steps below.

I started by glueing pieces of the colorful papers onto the white background. Then, I went over this with white gesso, leaving it rather messy with the papers peeking through in spots.

I had fun layering on the Paper Artsy paints. I started with the opaque colors, then topped them with the transparent paints. Next, I randomly stamped the coffee cups and words over the page.

I wanted to subdue it, so added more paint, rubbing it in with my fingers. I used the coffee shape I had left from the die cutting the cup, and used it as a stencil and sponged in some color, then stamped the words in the center. Final step was to add some tiny stamped hearts.

I hope you've enjoyed my samples using the February card kit!! Have a wonderful day!
