Cray Cray Rainbow Hipster!

Hello Monday my friends and welcome to our newest challenge - Make A Rainbow using Tim Holtz products! How fun is this, right? Please also join me in welcoming our guest designer for the month - Amy from Amy's Card Obsession!! Be sure to check out her website for inspiration, she has a wonderful unique style and a love of color!

Tim Holtz's new Hipster stamps are so fun to use! They all look so serious, but just make you laugh. So, I thought I would take it a step further and make this guy a bit cray cray with some rainbow hair!

I began with changing some of the white thread from Tim's Eclectic Elements into purple by using the wilted violet distress ink.

I stamped the Hipster onto watercolor paper, and then blended in several rainbow colors, before I spritzed with water.

Next, I punched a multitude of small holes with my screw punch in the stamped hair.

Pulled the threads through and stuck them onto some adhesive to keep in place, and once done, added a piece of tape.

I think he's looking a little Cray Cray with his rainbow hair

I layered him onto the card using some of the fun papers from a Simon Card kit, along with some of Tim Holtz's new Chatter design tape, and popped on the words. Of course, once I added that sparkly strip of tape, I just had to sparkle up the glasses too - after all, he is a Hipster!

I hope you've enjoyed my interpretation of making a rainbow using Tim Holtz products! Now it's your turn to create something special and share it with us this week! Thanks for stopping by!
