Simon Says: Take Note!

Happy Monday my friends, and Happy Valentine's Day to you also! We have a new challenge for you at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - this week our theme is Take Note...think notebooks, paper etc.
Thanks to all of you who shared your wonderful creative projects with us last week in our "Love" challenge!

I decided to make one more valentine and mix up a masculine theme with some "girly" colors.

I put a piece of patterned paper inside the card, stamped it, and added the other part of the heart from my Sketch Heart die.

I die cut several papers from the Pebbles collection (January Card Kit), glued them down, then rubbed in some pinks with my finger.

I Mixed the Candy Floss and Mahogany, and stenciled the next layer with the Tim Holtz Ringer stencil.

I added some Guacamole paint and Cracked Pistachio ink to my die cuts (Seth Apter) and strip of patterned paper.

Once I added the minty paper, I rubbed the black ink around the edges and over the surface.

I stamped the background and X's with Seth Apter's Billboards set and one of his Solar System stamps from my stash.

I doodled a bit with black and white pens, and added the mustachioed gentleman carrying the big heart.

I wonder if he's taking his big heart to his sweetheart? I hope you enjoy a delightful Valentine's Day, and find some creative time this week to join in our Take Note challenge!

Our generous friends at Simon Says Stamp offer a  $50 voucher each and every challenge to one lucky participant.
