All Things Bright and Beautiful

Hello Monday and welcome friends! So glad to see you this week, thanks for popping by. We have a new challenge for you this week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - All Things Bright and Beautiful, and we are showcasing all things Paper Artsy! We would love to see your Paper Artsy creations this week, but of course, use whatever you have.

Please join me in welcoming the lovely and talented Christine Bedford at Pearshapedcrafting who will be joining us for the month of June! So happy to have you with us Christine!

When I looked at this week's challenge, I thought of the book All Things Bright and Beautiful, which follows All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot, and both are about the life of a Yorkshire Vet, so I found these adorable critters by Paper Artsy, and made a trio of ATC's.

I started out by brushing Caribbean Sea and Beach Hut onto the canvas pieces, then stenciled on the South Pacific.

Once that dried, I went in with a different stencil on each ATC and used Coral.

Then, I sprinkled on some Paper Artsy Infusions - A Bit Jaded, In The Navy, and Rusty Car, spritzed it with water and let them dry. I also stamped my images on water color paper and colored them with Prima Watercolors.

I popped the critters up, added a phrase, and edged the ATC with black ink.

And here they are, my trio of critters!

I hope I've given you some inspiration for this week's challenge. Now, it's time for you to get your crafting supplies out, make something and share it with us! Happy Crafting!

Our generous friends at Simon Says Stamp are offering a $50 voucher to one lucky participant!
