Let it Snow!

Hello Monday, my friends! Are you ready for this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge? Well, we are ready for you with LET IT SNOW! (yes, you might be like me and not really want it to snow yet, but we know it's coming)

Happy Winter Y'All!

I am using the Carta Bella Let it Snow paper pack, and painted these adorable gnomes' hats to match the paper. How did I do? I used these fun Prima watercolor sets to get the colors I wanted.

Inside greeting is stamped with Simon's Big Scripty Holiday Greetings.

Now, I have a few holiday cards made for this year! I'm mixing up my designs to keep it fresh for me.

Hope you are getting inspired to create something for our Let it Snow challenge this week! Remember, our generous friends at Simon Says Stamp offer a $50 shopping voucher to their fabulous store with every challenge!

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrated!
I am thankful for all of you who take the time to stop in and visit and leave a comment from time to time.

  5. These are adorable! I especially loved the incorporation of "y'all," which has a special place in my heart. My sweet hubby lived in Texas for awhile, so when I met him, he was full of lots of "y'all-ing." He still whips that out when his adopted Southern half takes over (sometimes he even says "all y'all") and it reminds me of our early courtship. So see? You have darling cards that made me smile for more than one reason. Bonus points for you, my friend!

  8. Wonderful card Maura! I love the gnomes. We saw a gnome movie yesterday evening (I can't even remember the name now, but they were defending a house against purple monster balls), everybody thought it was funny. I love that you painted the hats to match the patterned paper.
