Simon Says: Use Bright Colors!

Hello Monday my friends! Welcome back for another challenge with us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - USE BRIGHT AND CHEERFUL COLORS! I love bright colors, and had a lot of fun with this.

This is the last week of the month, which means it is Kerstin's last week. Haven't you just been awed by her creative genius this month? We will miss you Kerstin, but I know I will see you on the creative web, looking for more of your awesome work.  It's been great having you with us!

I started on a canvas page in the Dina Wakley Media Journal, and used this gorgeous stencil from Finnabair. I used three blues applied with a cosmetic sponge to get some color variation.

Peacock, Ocean and Turquoise paints for the stencil...

I used my stamping platform to get crisp images, especially with the large elephant stamp.

Then, I just played with my bright Daniel Smith Watercolors and painted the images.

I decided to also add some sparkle with Simon's Unicorn Dust. I may be wearing more than is on the page here, lol! I was thinking of the Holi festival in India with all of the gorgeous colors while painting my elephant.

And there we are...bright colors, glitter, and an elephant!

I hope you are inspired to join us this week and work in bright and cheerful colors! One participant is drawn at random to win a $50 shopping voucher from our generous friends at Simon Says Stamp!

A GREAT place to shop!
