Simon Says: Red, White or Blue

 

 Hello Monday my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  Inspired by a Movie Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is: RED, WHITE OR BLUE

Happy Fourth of July to friends in the USA! 

I've created a slimline card in red, white and blue with a coordinating envelope for this week's challenge.  

I decided to stencil a tag to put on top of my card. I'm using distress oxide inks in red and blue, and the Paper Rose Starry Night stencil. The small blending brushes from Simon work beautifully.

Then, I stamped the quote in black ink over the stenciled design. 

On the inside of the card, I stenciled a few stars, using the outer part left from die cutting the stars.

The base of the card is made from Paper Rose's Arty Love 1.1 pack.

I die cut the sketchy stars using the Paper Love, and am using both the outer and inner pieces to layer on the card. 

I also stenciled a matching envelope for the card. Red, White and Blue, with a touch of yellow... Why not play with the colors and designs yourself and join us this week?
