Holiday Gift Card Holders

Hello Monday, my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  Use Die Cuts for DieCember  Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is: IT'S A WRAP!
Parcels, tags, wrapping paper, envelopes....

I made a trio of gift card holders to use this holiday season.

I found directions to make these at The Paper Pixie.  You can get all the cutting directions there. Thanks Paper Pixie!

I chose traditional Christmas colors for the holder, cut and scored them.

I found some old Tim Holtz Christmas papers in my stash and used these for the backgrounds. I used a thin line of glue to close my bottom section into a pocket.

I cut a little notch in the pocket to make it easy to take out the card.
Plenty of room inside for a gift card!

I made some fun belly bands to keep the gift card closed. I stamped Tis the Season, and added a cute little image colored with markers - both from the Tim Holtz Stamptember 24 stamps set.
