I've been making Memordex/Rollodex cards to exchange with an art friend, and I thought it would be fun to make a couple of Tim Holtz themed ones this week to share. So let's head back into the past for a couple of...

TIME TRAVELERS

 

I began with a collage layer... 

 Pulled out a mix of paints I thought would give a vintage took...

Applied them, and wiped back in some areas to let more of the background show. I stamped my images on watercolor paper, and colored them with paint and Tombow markers, then cut them out. 

I make one for myself in my Memorydex box, and one for my friendd's Rolodex. 

Details, including some white splatter on hers... 

 

 

I added some quote chips and chat stickers. Of course I have to do the backs, and I've been doing them "upside down" so when you flip through, you see it right side up.
