Amy Tangerine Daybook Challenge - Sheila's Take

Captured Moments gave us two challenges this week for our Daybooks. Since I already had put a window in as one of our own challenges that we came up with, I decided to add the something embossed. I thought that my wood grain embossing folder would go perfectly with my outdoorsy, garden theme. I embossed an envelope, cut a bit off, folded down the top edge for a bit of contrast and also roughed it up to make it look a bit worn. I also added just a touch of Distress Inks as well as few stickers.
I cut a vintage time card into a tag and added one of my personalized wooden tags as an embellishment.
And here's the completed page in my little book.

  3. Awesome Sheila! Now that I think of it, the window challenge may have been "Two Crafting Sisters" idea to begin with! I can't remember if Maura had mentioned that you had done it and Tiffany took up your challenge or how it went... but either way, your books are AWESOME!!! Thanks for sharing!
