Happy St. Patrick's Day and meeting a Challenge

One of my favorite holidays is March 17, and I want to wish you all a fabulous and green St. Pat's day! Celebrate your Irish! I made some special cards to send out to family, using a number of distress inks and techniques, so I am also going to enter this into Simon Says "D is for Distress" challenge here.

The background of the card is using one of my favorite distress techniques - rubbing several distress inks on the paper, then flicking with water to get this nice variegated background. Next step was to stamp the background shamrocks (stamp unknown) with distress ink, and then the shamrock (Magenta) in archival emerald green on top. Pulled out a white pen to doodle on top of the design to bring it out. Layered and added the ribbon colored with distress inks (love to make my own ribbon colors this way!) a little more distress ink around the edge of the card, and done! Put in the envelope and mail them out.

May your troubles be less

And your blessings be more, and nothing but happiness

Come through your door!

Have a green day!!
