I chose the blues....
Why did I choose the blues? I recently lost a friend to cancer. She was a young mother and left this world too soon. I know she is in a better place and free from pain, but I miss her. Art journaling is a great way to put down those thoughts we have and can get us through the good times and the bad.
"Make the most of the TIME you have, for it is precious"
The elements I chose to use: time, circles, blues... support my feelings about the passing of time, as well as loss. I find myself looking at things in my life with new eyes.
Ok, on to some crafting details...
I think I pulled out all of my blue distress inks to make the background. Sprinkled some water drops to add texture on the pages.
Net step, Ground Expresso (I am sure I was drinking java too while creating this...) and a Finnabair stencil to add some contrast. I am liking the blues and brown.
Stamps, stickers, arrow, white pen, washi...it's interesting how layers develop depending on how deep the black is.
Cherish Everyday! I really am trying to live by these words.
I am curious what challenge you will choose! Looking forward to seeing what you share with us.
