Woodland Christmas Trees

Hello there Monday! Are you ready for a new challenge, my friends? Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge for this week is...O' Christmas Tree! I took a slightly different path with this theme, and was thinking of the woodland trees and creatures who live there, and remembered when we would decorate the trees with cranberries and popcorn and seeds to give them a holiday treat.
Also, these are my Christmas cards, so I think that fits!

It has been such a pleasure this month to have Anita Houston, The Artful Maven Haven with us! Anita, I wish you the best and look forward to more wonderful art work from you!

I don't have process photos this time because I was at a retreat when I made these and got into them and forgot! I think I worked up new arm muscles cranking out all those die cuts! And, I tried my new Fuse tool to make the shaker pockets, and it is amazing - super easy!

I made several versions of my card, so here they are!

I hope you are having as much fun as I am crafting for the holidays! I hope you will join us in our Christmas Tree challenge this week, and I am looking forward to seeing your projects!

Our friends at Simon Says Stamp are offering a $50 voucher to one lucky participant!

  8. Maura!!! Maybe it was just a super long day with a toddler (who is currently anti-clothing), but I took one look at your gorgeous scenes and wanted to hop in! You've not only created some wonderful cards here, but you've created an emotion and I love that about what you've done! I felt peaceful, I felt hopeful, and I still felt fancy because of the sequins! What a clever crafter you are to show us different variations on a theme. Thank you for the moment of calm in a rather nutso day!
