Inspired by Music

 

 Hello Monday, my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the Stamp It/STAMPtember  Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is: INSPIRED BY MUSIC

I was thinking of certain songs I like for this, but then thought I would just go general and add the idea of the magic of music. I mean, music is really magical, right? It transports us when we hear it, it can invoke a forgotten memory, and it can just make our hearts soar.

I began by brushing watercolor onto my pages.

Next, I blended ink into the Flourish stencil around the edges...

Next step, collage layers...

I thought the dancing ballerina was perfect to enjoy the music. I added a bit of watercolor to her outfit. 

I hand lettered Music is Magic....

Somewhere along the line, I added white splatter.
