Let's Add MOO Texture!

 

 Hello Monday, my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  Use More Than One Stencil   Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is: ADD SOME TEXTURE

I just love the Highland Cattle stamp set from Simon, and thought it would make a fun gift card holder, maybe for some MOOla. ha ha! It's a simple and fun project, made even better with some sparkle texture paste.

HIGHLAND CHEER

 

 i began by folding a tag into three sections , so a gift card would fit inside. Next, I cut patterned paper to fit the front, the flap, and the back. I used a snowflake stencil and Tim Holtz's Sparkle Texture Paste to make it even more festive. 

Meanwhile, I stamped my cow and Christmas Cheer. 

Adding the textured plaid after the paste dried... 

I die cut a tag for the Christmas Cheer, and fussy cut my cow, once I had added watercolor to the image.

(I used a foam square at the bottom of the cow to hold this shut. Since the texture is glossy, it works.)
