Let's Set a Date

January, a new year, a time of new beginnings. What better time than now to make your own calendar! I took a calendar from a health organization and covered it with patterned paper then made the month tabs with my Round Tab Stampin Up punch.
I made pockets inside the front and back covers - very handy to keep those little slips of paper I seem to end up with. The striped paper covers part of the cover and then I brought the front flap over and only adhered the top and bottom to make the pocket.
I added the die cut trees from the coordinating "Little Sprout" Crate Papers. "Plan" letters are die cut, and since they seemed a bit plain to me, I used my white pen to spice them up a bit. I am using my new calendar to keep track of all my crafting plans.

  1. Maura, I love it! Great way to repurpose something to make it cute and useful. Hmmm...wonder what some of those crafting plans are? Can't wait to see them!

  2. Maura
I love what you did !!! Who would have guessed... i am so inspired, I plan to attack mine today.
Thanks so much for all you both do.
Love to you both, Maura and Sheila

  3. Nancy, you started it all with the calendar - thanks!! I can't wait to see your version!

It was so nice of you to visit and leave a comment, thanks!!
