Hello Monday my friends! We are back with a new challenge for you - WHATEVER THE WEATHER, and we are highlighting Tim Holtz products this week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. If you have your Tim stash, use it this week on your entry, if not, no worries.
Please join me in welcoming our guest designer for March, Lisa Rabellino at Lisa Creativa. I know you will really enjoy her beautiful mixed media style!
Here was my weather view while I was working on my project. Another snowstorm, high winds, cold...I am SO looking forward to spring! At least my dancing hula girl is there to keep me smiling while I work.
Whatever the Weather...rain, sun, calm, windy, warm, cold...it is always there. I'm just hoping it's NOT 2 feet of snow!! Honestly, I really enjoy the weather and how changeable it is, but I do find myself getting nervous now and then when it gets severe.
No matter what, gotta Love this Life!
I started with stencils and distress oxide inks.
Then, stencils and sprays...
How about some distress crayons now?
Oh, and maybe a bit of paint. I'm liking the mix of design and texture, but in the end, most of it got covered up.
I stamped the ATC stamp on canvas, and added lots of Idea-ology bits.
I love this life, whatever the weather!!
Get inspired to bring out your Tim Holtz products and create and share with us this week! Our generous friends at Simon Says Stamp offer a $50 voucher to one participant drawn at random.

Gorgeous tag Maura!! The background is wonderful and I love the stamping on canvas. I too enjoy the change in seasons, but doesn't like too extreme or, in particular, too strange weather. We also have snow and cold again here, but not as much snow as you. Today was a beautiful sunny day, when a snowy forest looks its best. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLove your wonderful tag, Maura. The background colors and texture are fantastic! Love the beautiful layered embellishments, too. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fabulous tag! It is eclectic art at its best with all those elements coming together in a mish-mash of goodness. It was especially fun to see the view out your crafting window, too, and I can certainly relate to all of those snow vibes! We're across the county from each other, but we are united in our snowy-shivery lives right now!
