Simon Says: Christmas Tags!

Hello Monday my friends! Welcome to this week's special challenge - we are participating in Tracey McNeeley's 25 Days of Christmas Tags, so our theme this week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is CHRISTMAS TAGS! And...we are showcasing the fabulous Simon Says Stamp products on our tags!

Why not get a head start on your holiday creating and join us?

I'd also like to welcome our guest designer for November, Laura Cassina who shares her gorgeous art work on Instagram. Welcome Laura!!

WINTER GREETINGS!

I blended blues and purples onto my watercolor paper tag, then stenciled the snowflakes with the bolder blue.

Next, I stamped some snowflakes onto the tag with Simon Says Stamp White Pigment ink.

I also embossed some of the snowflakes for a bolder look.

Simon's Ice Skating Girl gets a scripty layer with Simon's Old Letter Stamp. I love how stamping her gives her a whole new look.

I popped up the skater and banner saying, edged the tag with Simon's black ink and Tim Holtz Ground Espresso, punched a whole at the top and tied on some hand dyed ribbon I had made.

Did you notice how it looks as though she is holding a snowflake in her hand?

I love how this tag came together and I hope you do too. Come join us for a fun week and make some tags for Christmas! We would love to see your creations using Simon products if you have them. Our generous friends at Simon Says Stamp are offering a $50!! shopping voucher to one of you!

A great place to shop!
