The Letter S

 

 Hello Monday my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  Frame It Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too

This week the challenge is: SOMETHING BEGINNING WITH "S"

I was very fortunate to visit with two of my sisters in Florida recently, so inspired by the ocean and beaches from my lovely visit, I chose a seashell for my S. 

Beautiful, inside and out

I began by simply stamping my images onto a slimline card. 

 

Next, I used several of Simon's saturated inks with the Mermaid Scales stencil and blended colors into the background.

I blended saltwater taffy over the shell. 

Then, I blended more color onto the shell with colored pencils. 

Seashells and people are beautiful inside and out! I hope you've enjoyed this virtual trip to the ocean!
