Mixed Media

Hello Monday my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the Fun With Stencils Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is: MIXED MEDIA

This is definitely a favorite of mine! I love to use color and pattern to layer up an art journal page, and this week, I've attempted a video to show my process.

My inspiration for this week's project came from my recent trip to New York City. My sister and I traveled there on the train for my appointment with the eye specialist. But, we always add in fun things to do like eat out at ethnic restaurants and visit museums too. Our hotel was not far from Lady Liberty, and we met people from around the world.

Lots of layers of colors and pattern...

I included a postcard we got at the Cafe Mogador, where gypsy jazz played in the background while we enjoyed out Moroccan inspired  meal.

Just thought I'd share the creative chaos of my work space, it is small but mighty!

And...let's see how the video goes!

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $25 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
