 Hello Monday my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  Emboss It Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is: WHATEVER THE WEATHER

A gentleman is always prepared for the weather... 

I had so much fun with this cool tag from Studio Light and pretty colors! Maybe I was just being lazy, but I decided to do all my painting with my fingers instead of a brush, LOL.

Next step once the tag was dry - stenciling with a couple of Simon Says Stamp stencils. I used the blue again, and then some black for contrast.

Inspired by teamie Andrea, I smudged white over the tag. I wanted a lighter background for some words. I added a bold black edge to the tag too.  I did go back in and smudge on some more color on top of the white layer.

I added the gentleman with his umbrella, so he would be between the darker and brighter colors. Then I wrote "a gentleman is always prepared, no matter the weather."

I added a Quote Chip "Every day you decide who you want to be". and added three fasteners.

Umbrellas work great to shade you from the hot sun, and to keep the rain off - good whatever the weather!
