Christmas

Hello Monday, my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE COLOR?  Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

It's been wonderful having Debbie Emmons with us for the month of September sharing her gorgeous work!

This week the challenge is: CHRISTMAS

How about a jolly snowman tag for Christmas?

I am using the Half Tone Snowman for my tag. I stamped the snowman in black and snowflakes in blue.

I added a bold Jolly to the bottom of the tag. I only inked part of the saying and stamped that.

Then, I went over the snowflakes with glitter pens and distressed the edges of the tag.

Next, I added Steampunk mica flakes onto random areas of the tag with a bit of glue. I also added a more distressed look by scrubbing the tag with sandpaper.

I decided I wanted a bit more shiny, so stamped the snowman again with embossing powder, which adds a bit of glitz.

Details...

Final step was tying on some hand dyed ribbon.  Blue and brown are always a fun combination. You could turn this into a card or tie it onto a gift.
