Stamp It/STAMPtember!

 

 Hello Monday, my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the Sparkle and Shine Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too

This week the challenge is: STAMP IT!/STAMPtember!

I'm using the new STAMPtember Simon Says Stamp Checking In stamp set for two projects this week...a card and an art journal page. Enjoy! 

 

I began my card by stamping the image onto watercolor paper and coloring with Tombow markers and a water brush. 

Next, I fussy cut the flowers out and a few extra to pop. Simon Says Stamp's Fine Detail scissors work beautifully for this. 

I popped a few flowers up for some dimension. 

Details...

I framed the flowers with black and pink card-stock and mounted it onto the card base. I stamped the words...sprinkled a bit of gold gouache over this, and voila! 

HOW ARE YOU DOING? 

I decided to create some more with this beautiful stamp set. I began by sketching a wonky face on watercolor paper.  

 Next, I went over the pencil lines with black Sharpie, and erased the pencil once dry.  Nothing is quite right, it's a bit off kilter, but I'm going with it.

I colored more flowers and the face with the Tombow markers. 

I added "hard" by stapling hand dyed ribbon onto her heard.  

Then, I topped her with the flowers. 

I pulled out an old art journal and stenciled a fun bubble circle pattern to create a background for her. 

I I glued sequins on for earrings, attached her and voila....
