Just wanted to share a few photos of yesterday's "Cropical Getaway". Captured Moments hosts (or should I say "hostess') these wonderful themed crops. January's theme takes us away from the cold, snow and ice and puts us in a tropical mood. The crop was at a local church in order to make room for more new croppers. Joining us for the first time were Tabitha, Ginger and Lexi - we think they will be back! Pink flamingos and tropical flowers added bright decorations. Food was delicious ranging from brunch items like Quiche Lorraine, to a chocolate fountain, to Caribbean style food like curry and jerk chicken for dinner - added a bit of spice to the crop!
Maura and Michelle - scrapbooking crop buddies having fun, as always!
Future scrapbookers, caught red-handed at the cash register! When Captured Moments goes off site for crops, they bring the store with them - it's great to have that item you forgot at home on hand to purchase. One of the fun new things for this year's crops is a bracelet with charms for each crop (like the Pandora idea) - what will Tara and Tiffany think of next?
A peek at the projects I worked on at the crop - a valentine's frame make and take - thanks for bringing those back!, a layout for pictures from the crop -"page express", and the cards I made for this week's stamp camp. Not much in quantity...I know, but infused with fun and friendship!
I had soooo much fun Maura!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to have you and Tabitha, Ginger! Our newbies made it through to the end - woo hoo!
