Sneak peek of the completed, yes, I said completed December Daily 2010! Not bad finishing it up within the first two weeks of January, if I say so myself. How many of you made a New Year's resolution to finish all of those unfinished craft projects this year? Well, I know I did, and I probably have at least 33 more projects to finish, or was that 133? or 1,133? All I know is, it's a lot! Don't panic....just breathe...we can do this....baby steps....one project at a time!
When I started my December Daily, I vowed to keep it simple and not put too much in it - I envisioned a nice flat book, with any dimensional (fat) embellishments just on the cover. I happened to mention this among friends, that my book was getting chunky, and I was trying to keep it simple and flat, and they said to me, "but that's what we like about your books." So, I take this as my trademark - fat, chunky style altered books!
Maura,
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree, that is your trademark style. And I love it! So don't change a thing. I think the more in your books--the better. That's what makes them so unique and so YOU. Can't wait until it arrives at my doorstep to look through!
Yeah Maura - it's a wonderful feeling to complete a project, eh?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it!
Colleen here...
ReplyDeleteI think it will be wonderful. Love your work.
