A fun challenge from Simon Says Stamp this week - "House Rules" and I had these three building kits from Melissa Frances, some winter themed kits in blues, and a Saturday crop, so it all fell into place! Here are the basic steps I went through in creating my little village. |
Materials for the houses- paper and embellishments from kits |
Trees, tinsel, stains, stickles... |
Trace the cardboard pieces, then cut out carefully |
Adhere papers to chipboard and ink |
Construct the house, add some "gingerbread" |
All put together, and ready to fancy up |
Completed house, with more snow than I have yet seen this year |
Back |
Front, with tree |
Back |
Church front with rhinestones |
Church back with wreath |
Now, to get the Christmas tree up and the house decorated for the holidays!
Wow, gorgeous! I was so tempted by these little houses recently, but I managed to resist... now I'm slipping again!
