PARIS PERSPECTIVE!
I recently returned from an adventure in France, and was lucky enough to spend several days in Paris. I loved photographing the city, and chose one of my photos to use in this mixed media piece, because it fit perfectly with Tim Holtz's Stamptember set! Don't you just love these?!
I love the perspective of this photo I shot of the Eiffel Tower, and the camera stamp just called out to this.
I started with a corrugated cardboard base, that I painted black for some great texture.

I love the perspective of this photo I shot of the Eiffel Tower, and the camera stamp just called out to this.

Stamped, and inked up with distress inks...I wanted to tie in some of the blues from the sky, and throw in some twisted citron for fun.
I do love my steampunk, and clusters of gears work perfectly to bring all of the elements together. I mean, truly, the Eiffel Tower seems to be totally steampunk to me.
Yes, Paris is all perspective, whether it is how you think about it, or the wonderful buildings and monuments. I hope you've enjoyed my steampunk bit of Paris on the blog hop!
