It's a Monster Mash at Simon Says Stamp!

Hello Monday! It's time for the Monster Mash!

I had a lot of fun making this tag, getting wild with color, playing with all kinds of products and trying out some ideas.

All righty, here we go!

Start with some fun remnant rubs on a giant tag.

Play around with distress inks in a palette of oranges, yellows, and red.

Next, get out all kinds of fun stamps to add background elements in coffee colors. I'm liking this so far!

I experimented with some paints and the harlequin stencil. Turns out I like the small tag better where I laid the stencil down after I had painted the big tag, so with some creative thinking...

I tried outlining with a black pen...looks better.

Or, why not use both tags? Even better!

Two crazy birds flying off to trick or treat. Ms. Purple is coloring with paint, and has some special tail feathers made from a tree stamp! Mr. Green looks a bit nervous on that broom, don't you think?

Add some bakers twine, a metal number 31, a bit of chitchat, and I think we are ready to fly!

Happy Halloween to all of you who celebrate!

So, what will you create for the Monster Mash? Something scary and ghoulish? Something cute?  I hope you will join us for this week's challenge!

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
