Happy New Year, Time for Something New!

Hello to the first Monday of the new year! Can you believe it is already 2016? I wish a creative year to each of you, and may you enjoy many blessings throughout the year.

This week we are celebrating something new, and using our Tim Holtz products. We challenge you to do the same. I have been a Tim fan for a long time, and love using his stuff, from stamps to paint to gears! I have even been lucky enough to take a few classes with him...yep, that's me to the left of Tim.

I will share with you when I started my project for this week's challenge, I had a completely different idea in my head than where I ended up. But I do like where I ended up, so I think my creative muse was at work behind the scenes. Does this ever happen to you?

I have been admiring all of the wonderful projects by my DT using Tim's Flip Frames, so I had to get one and try it out. I love this! I can picture making pages for the holidays, seasons...no reason! It just looks so lovely set in the frame, another genius product, Tim!

I believe in the little things. It's the little joys and discoveries that carry the most importance day to day in my life. Oh sure, I like the big AH-HA moments, but they only come along once in awhile. The morning sun on my face, a smile, a butterfly flitting around the flowers in my garden, these are the things that bring me joy each day, and that is the path my muse took me on!

I am celebrating something new, and why don't you join us? Get out your Tim Holtz products if you have them(or use whatever you have on hand) and make something new! I am looking forward to seeing where your muse takes you!

Happy New Year!

  12. This color palette is FAB-U-LOUS! And yes- I totally can relate to ending up somewhere different from where I started. In this case, I don't know what your original plan was, but this "detour" is one of sheer brilliance! So fun to see the Tim pics, too!
