STAMPtember: Stamp It!

Happy Monday friends! Perhaps by today you have seen the fantastic new release from Simon Says Stamp for Stamptember, if not, let us introduce it to you this week with our Stamp It challenge. So many goodies to play with, and if you have any Simon products, we ask you to use them this week in our challenge.

Please join me in welcoming our September Guest Designer, Larisa Vereshagina aka Riliska! Welcome Riliska, we are so happy to have you with us this month!!

I am using the Plush Sweet Elephant die cut and You Matter set for two cards this week.  I also made a couple of other projects using my STAMPtember goodies, that you can see HERE.

I started with a sheet of watercolor paper and sprayed areas with water, then dipped a bit of Dylusions spray into the wet areas, held it up and let it drip.  Next I sprayed a bit onto the card.

I used my new MISTI (I am loving this tool for getting these really crisp inked images) to stamp onto the card. I love that big YOU! (There is also a die cut for it.) I took some Distress Paint and went around the edges, then a bit of hand dyed ribbon and a star charm to finish it off.

See how easy it is to line the stamps up with the MISTI!

I die cut the sweet little elephant using Graphic 45 Artisan Style, and added a bit of bling from 28 Lilac Lane. I think this elephant works as well with paper as with fabric! I love how well made the Simon dies are, which make it easy for me to use. If I am using a heavier card stock or fabric/felt, I put it through my Big Shot several times, and everything comes out easily.

I hope you have enjoyed the cards I made to celebrate STAMPtember! If you've seen the new collection, do you have a favorite?

I hope you will join us in our challenge this week and use stamps to create something special, and help us celebrate! I look forward to seeing it!

Simon is giving a generous $50 voucher to one lucky participant in our challenge!

  2. Awesome work this week, Maura! I was dying to see what one of the plush dies looked liked without actually being sewn, so thank you for that inspiration! And my goodness- those color drips on the first card make me swoon (in a good way)! You know that I share your love of a bright-colored universe! You go, girl!
