Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit

Simon Says Stamp's September Card Kit is all about birthdays and bright happy colors.  

I started off with the shaker tag and added distress oxides (not in the kit). I rubbed on the cracked pistachio, spritzed it and heated it. Then I rubbed more on the craft sheet, spritzed it and laid the tag down into it, and repeated this step with the twisted citron.

The MISTI is a great tool for getting perfect stamping, on the tag and the background. 

I used the WOW embossing glitter and Simon's Moonshine Confetti from previous card kits to fill the heart shaker. These shakers make it super easy to fill and seal - just peel the back of and they stick!

All layered together into a sweet birthday card! I added some colorful twine to the tag also. 

One thing I really like about the Simon Says Stamp Card Kits is that I am trying products I likely would have overlooked while going through the store. I am now finding items to use in other projects too, and making some super fun cards at the same time!
