Camping Album

Found this adorable little camping book on the Archiver's website.  It's a travel trailer album from October Afternoon. It looks like it comes with everything to make the book. This should get you campers in the mood to get rolling on the road, air out the tent, find the sleeping bags...pack up for an adventure!

7 Gypsies Tray

Posted by Picasa
Michelle was working on her tray at the crop. Archiver's put this cool kit together that she was using. Can't wait to see the final project. What an awesome idea!

Printer Trays

I've said in the past that I love printer's trays. I posted about how I turned one of mine into stamp storage and I have another one that will eventually be turned into a display tray.
Archiver's recently had a Wall Art Contest with the entries displayed at their recent Scrapfest event at the Mall of America. They had entries from each of their 44 stores and attendees voted on their favorites. Here are some of mine:
Bonnie N, Zionsville, IN
Donna S., Memphis, TN
Kim D.-K., Georgetown, TX
Renata L.,Woodridge, IL
Unknown
And HERE are all the entries.

Lots of inspiration for these printer's trays that are available from 7Gyspies. They have various sizes, colors, configurations of spaces and even accessories. If you decide to alter one for yourself, please share!

Mystery Shoppers are Successful!

(edited to add an explanation...when Maura arrived in town, the first thing she told me was that we were going to be "mystery shoppers" at the local Archivers store. A trip there is one of Maura's favorite things to do since there is not one in her neck of the woods. Well, she must have talked it up to all her crafting and crop friends, because she came with 5 bags of money from 5 people who asked her to just "buy whatever". So that's exactly what we did!)

Ok, ladies....just want to let you know that Sheila and I just got back from our trip to Archivers with MANY bags! We think you are going to love the goodies we picked up for you. We tried to find all new, fun and exciting things for you, and I think we did it. We can't wait to share the bags with you when Maura gets back to New York, so daydream about what you might find in your bag!

Who Doesn't LOVE to Shop for Scrapbook Supplies??

One of the things I have learned about myself and shopping in the last couple of years is that the ONLY important shopping anymore has to do with scrapbooking, stamping and crafting... well, and books for some fun reading. As you all know, my favorite store is Captured Moments at home, but when I get to Ohio to visit Sheila, one of my MUST stop and shop places is Archivers, since I do not have one in New York. I look forward to this on each and every visit! Sheila and I went together (which is the best way) - hey, it is the most fun when you can ooh and aah together and drool over the latest products, right? After about an hour or so of going around each aisle, we finished shopping. Luckily there was a bookstore next door that my son could hang out at while we were in Archivers...

We found some cool new products and some materials for our next couple of long distance projects.
Here is a peek at what we got! We found some neat polka dot paper, and polka dot felt! Guess we are in a "dotty" mood! Sheila and I are both excited to make some books and share with each other and all of you.
