Summertime brings to mind all the wonderful water activities and vacation opportunities...sailing, swimming, eating lobster, whale-watching trips, fishing, ocean tide pools.....can't you just picture this in your head? I want to be at the ocean...right now!
When this great paper line from Websters Pages arrived at my local scrapbook store, Captured Moments , I knew I had to create something with it. "Yacht Club" includes papers, fabric ribbon, buttons, twine, fabric tickets, flowers, journal tags, and more!
By now, I am sure you are aware of how much both Sheila and I love to make mini-books, so this was perfect to design an album from scratch with. I find it amazing what can be created from chipboard, paper and a binding system - you can create your album any way you want to, you are not limited to just what you can buy. I wanted to design something different, yet take advantage of the wonderful graphics this paper offers.

Maura, I love the way you have bound this album! You've inspired me to try one that opens in two directions-something new. I agree that a binding system and chipboard is a wonderful thing to have. Your album looks very summery and nautical-wishing I was closer to an ocean than a brown muddy river!
