Circuit to the Christmas Star

Happy December my friends! May this holiday season bring you peace and joy, good health, and maybe a few new crafting goodies!

I wanted to add in a special holiday themed steampunk/industrial make to share with you, so I created three Artist Trading Cards, that I am calling
"Circuit to the Christmas Star".

I blended several blues to make the base for the night sky.

Next, I sponged the violet through the circuit board stencil onto the ATC's.

Next up, a layer of Shimmer Mister in white.

While the backgrounds were drying, I painted the stars in shimmery metallics, and went around each card with my leftover paint.

I die cut the small town, cut it apart and layered grey then violet.

I decided to add some more texture at the base, and I first embossed a layer of Deep Sea, then added the Patina Oxide on top of that.

Final steps - add words about stars, and use a silver pen in the windows to make them look lit up.

So, there has to be a path (or circuit) to the Christmas star, right? I was playing on that idea with my circuit design in the sky.

Remember our Winter Special runs until the end of December, so you have lots of time to create and share something with us!

I wish you a wonderful holiday season and happy winter solstice!!
