Kraken Transport

 

 Hello Monday my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  Going Around in Circles Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is: TRANSPORT IT

Sometimes my imagination works in mysterious ways. I'm thinking of what inspired me to create this page, and I can think of three things.  The easy one is Yellow Submarinee by the Beatles since I chose to make my cute little sub yellow. Also, I've been reading a book series called Siren Island by Tricia O'Malley which is all about mermaids. Now both of these are fun and happy ideas, but I also was following the race to save the  people and  submersible visiting the Titanic,  which unfortunately ended tragically and my heart goes out to all the families.

So then, my overactive imagination comes up with the idea of a giant Kraken saving the submersible. The ocean is a very intriguing place after all, and one never knows! 

 

KRAKEN TRANSPORT THROUGH MERMAID LAGOON

 I began by blending green, blue and purple onto my page with the small blending brushes. Not to worry that it looks blotchy. 

Next step, spritz with water and lift form ink.

Bring on another layer with the Bubble stamp and Cadeltte ink.

 You never know what kind of fish you might run into..
