This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is SSS-Summer-Vacation-Kids-Challenge-01-600x600.jpg

Welcome to another of our annual Simon Says Stamp Summer Vacation Challenge. especially for kids, no adults allowed ;-) Where we host a special challenge dedicated to our young designers.

Anything Goes

Since my own kiddos are grown men, I decided to ask some of my younger friends if their children would like to participate as Junior Designers for the challenge, and I am so happy they all accepted! I am sharing their delightful projects here for you.

Nora is 3

This is her "nature self portrait" where she created her very own skin color from paint and then used natural objects from nature like sticks, flowers and leaves.
flowers, sticks, and leaves).

COUSINS CRAFTING DAY

They are busy crafting with polymer clay making miniature food items and figures to play with, as well as friendship necklaces and and earrings for special friends.

Owen is 5

Owen is sharing some of the friendship necklaces he has made for his classmates, using polymer clay. He also made some figures and miniature food items for play. Such a nice surprise in store for his classmates this fall.

Alivia is 8

Alivia has been creating with her cousins and playing with the polymer clay to create these lovely hear pendants.

Evie is 9

Evie is making earrings and friendship necklaces with the polymer clay , then decorating the jewelry holders with gel pens and markers. Evie also used gold and silver leaf with her jewelry.. These are sure to surprise her teachers and classmates!

Evie also made these adorable little people. Aren't they cute?

Here is my super creative friend Tabitha with her daughter Evie modeling some of Evie's earrings.

Amelia is 11

Amelia collected flowers from her garden, dried them, and added them into her paper mache lantern.

It's been very humid here, so Amelia is using a hair dryer to speed up the drying process.

And here is the nature themed lantern!

Many thanks to my young moms and aunts, Amanda, Tabitha and Lucia for encouraging creative play and being so willing to support these amazing junior designers!

It is time for all you crafters to let your children loose in your crafty corners for a few hours. Just close your eyes and set them free to explore their creativity. Adults are allowed to help just a little bit if necessary, but we really want the children to 'DO IT' themselves as much as possible.

The Design Team all love this challenge and are ready and waiting to pop over to your blog to see your creations!

This challenge is open to all children aged between 2 and 16 inclusive

We have not 1, not 2 but  3 surprise parcels of crafty goodies, hand picked by Simon. All winners are chosen at random, Good Luck to all!
